Virginia’s Angler Environmental expands into North Carolina with new Garner office — Triangle Business Journal

Angler Environmental, a design-build firm that specializes in ponds, streams and other water resources, has opened its first office in North Carolina after recruiting two local veterans of the industry to get it started.

Anna Reusche, a former environmental analyst for Kimley-Horn and Associates, has been hired as project manager for Angler Environmental’s new office location in Garner. She’s joined by Wesley Haskins, formerly with Foster Lake & Pond Management in Garner, who will oversee stormwater compliance projects including erosion and sediment control inspections for active construction sites.

Reusche says Angler has already grown the Garner office to six people with plans to add more, based on project activity.

“We are purely environmental,” she says. “We are not civil engineers like many of the other groups around here, and we have our own ecological construction division.”

Warrenton, Va.-based Angler also has branch offices in Richmond and Fairfax, Va., as well as in Odenton, Md.
