Why don’t this CMP outfit sell to Americans? Or did Congress intentionally set it up to sell only to elitist? “Civilian Marksmanship Program” isn’t that some form of socialism. Great video but CMP SUCKS. Socialism SUCKS! How un American is that? You must belong to some club. NRA isn’t good enough for them. Sorry, this elitism just pisses me off.

@budgray18 I think your thinking about the fact that when semi-autos first came out the military was concerned that soldiers would over use ammo. In the end they adopted them anyways and it helped win WW2.

Was just there and got a Kimber 82 and mucho cans of 30’06. Years ago, before the store was opened, you could volunteer to work at the CMP and get to cherry pick rifles (my dad and I volunteered together – he’s USMC Viet Vet and retired military). I did that and got a SA ’03 and a HRA M1 that are just beautiful and the barrels gauge at pretty much new. What I like now is that the CMP cleans the cosmoline from the rifles, but it also takes part of the fun away. The CMP staff were very helpful.
